The vikings dominated the New York Giants today, 41-17. We are 5-6, and have a chance at the playoffs. None of this matters if we lose to the Lions next week, but if we win, we are tied with them and are around 4-6 others for the last wilds card slot. Adrian Peterson will be back next week, and we are beginning to look like an actual contender. Next week will tell us all we need to know. I doubt there will be any blackout questions for this week.
On another separate note, as I am writing this I would just like to point out that Devin Hester is the most unbelievable player in the league. A punt and a kickoff return today. It is just inappropriate and dumb to kick to him.

Even if by some magical stroke of complete dumb luck that the Vikings actually make the playoffs, they will go nowhere in the playoff cause they would clearly be the worst team in the playoffs. And a contender??? I think not. They aren't even over .500 on the season.. it's not the time to be calling them a contender when they have been getting beat up by the other teams in their division all year long. And yes Devin Hester is amazing.
